The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and May Festival Chorus headline this event, which includes the ringing of the Peace Bell and a performance of the Official Song of the 2012 World Choir Games.

Recently crowned Champions of the 2012 World Choir Games perform.

 

7:30 p.m., Celebration Concert: Energy of Youth ($28, $35, $42)

The newly-formed Cincinnati Public Schools Honor Choir headlines this concert including youth choirs from around the world. The Honor Choir will perform a special arrangement composed especially for the World Choir Games by Rollo A. Dilworth, renowned Associate Professor of Choral Music Education at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance.

 

Tuesday, July 10

Featuring an appearance by renowned American composer and 2007 National Medal of Arts recipient Morten Lauridsen. An all-star collection of collegiate choirs conducted by Nicol Matt of Germany, the Indianapolis Children’s Choir directed by Henry Leck, and international choirs perform music from around the world.
